Photographs add professionalism and attractiveness to your blog and website. Just like the Kodak slogan states, "A picture is worth a 1000 words" is definitely true for websites and blogs. Although finding just the right picture to drive your message home isn't always that easy. Two types of pictures are available on the Internet - public domain and royalty-free photographs. Public domain photographs are photographs that are available for download free of charge. Usually the website owner will ask for credit be posted on the site. Royalty-free photographs are purchased for a fee however the purchaser buys all of the rights to the photograph and doesn't have to pay the original owner additional royalty fees.
