Frequency of Blog Posts

Regularly posting to your blog shows that your blog is being actively maintained and that new content is being added on a regular basis. Additionally, continually adding new content will ensure that the search engine spiders return frequently to crawl and index your site.  In the article, "Does Blog Post Frequency Affect Traffic?" Max Miroff explains that more posts lead to more indexed pages which in turn equals more search engine visitors and more page views.


What is the best frequency of blog posting? It is recommended that you post new content every day.  If that isn't possible, then every other day with three times a week being the minimum.  Posting frequently keeps readers interested and coming back more often.  However, posting several articles only once a week may

bombard your readers.  


Our daily lives may make it difficult to post daily.  In this case, you can write several posts in one day however schedule them to post on different days.  Thus, if you find time to write five articles on the weekend, schedule your articles to post on Monday, Tuesday and so on.
