It was just announced that Linky Tools will no longer be offering a free service. Starting February 7th, 2011, Linky Tools will charge a yearly fee of $24.
I love hosting blog hops however, I don't believe it is cost feasible for me to pay $2 / month just to host the hop.
However, many bloggers already use InLinkz. InLinkz offers text link service for free and thumbnail image link services are $19.99 / year or you can pay as you go for $1.99 / month.
The good news is that I will able to continue hosting my blog hops. So if you are in the same boat as me and don't want to pay $24 to host your blog hop, then check out what InLinkz has to offer.

Thank you for this post, Cindy! I was wondering what all the blog hops would do. I've started 2 hops myself, and since each only has a few hop along each week, I surely couldn't afford to pay for them (especially since I'm unemployed).
