The longer we blog the more buttons and links we acquire. Displaying these buttons and links without cluttering your blog pages and sidebars can be tricky. A good way to display all of your buttons and links without cluttering your sidebar is to create a scrolling blog roll. This method simply uses the html marquee code. Listed below is the code to create your own upward scrolling blog roll. Replace the code in purple with a blog's button code.
< marquee onmouseover="this.stop()" direction="up" onmouseout="this.start()" scrollamount="4" loop="true" width="180" height="230" > < a href="http://www.blog-address.com/" > < img border="0" alt="Blog Name" src="http://www.blog-button.jpg" / > < /a > < /marquee >
As always if you have any questions, leave me a comment.

ReplyDeleteIt took me two days to figure out how to make a button and link (that would work) for a grab my button.

I used your code and was so excited when it worked --- well on my work computer (I use firefox here). When I got home it didn't work (I use Internet Explorer) there. So I logged into Internet Exlorer here and work and same thing - it doesn't work. Can you take a look and tell me what is wrong. www.hootiebee.blogspot

I've tried this every way I know on my blogspot and I can not get it to work. I'm trying to put more than one button in the roll. Like I said, I tried connecting them in several different ways. I can't even get it to work with just one button. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong?
ReplyDeleteI'm following u btw.
